Here's the events that made me spent my whole entire 4 consecutive days outdoors.
6th Mar: Interview @ Robinson Tower & Career Fair @ Suntec Convention Centre
Woke up around 6.30am and be fully prepared for the interview. After such a long time ever since the last time I took train which is around 6 mths back, there I was feeling akward upon waiting for the train. Packed with commuters during the peak hours and hoping that I am able to squeeze thru upon reaching Dhoby Ghaut. During travelling,I can't stop looking at the lady sitting beside me. Want to know the reason why? The handbag that she's holding is the bag that I've been dreaming of to own it, Louis Vuitton Speedy 30! Earlier on before I board the train,I saw a woman holding a super big Louis Vuitton paperbag. I managed to have a peep on the content and it's Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM!
The followings are Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 & Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM respectively:
Okay, back to the storyline. When changing MRT line,I was totally paranoid upon seeing commuters gushing into the train despite of it already packed to the door. The video about the train commuters that were forced to enter by the train station personnels at Japan/Korea in youtube that I watched few years back, instantly strucked my head. I was.."WTH! S'pore also encounter the same scenario?! Omg!" Thought of waiting for a train with a bit of space will do..but on the second thought I declined my idea because of the interview. So,there I was packed and jammed in the red line train heading to Raffles Place.
The interview was short and subtle.Waited for Nawa at CTLink, seated on the bench provided. Boredom strucked, so observed lots and lots of people from different categories both prfessionally and unprofessionally dressed up walking past.
At Suntec Convention Centre. We were early by 2min before the opening of the hall. We spent most of the time in the educational areas than the employment site. Lots of interesting degree that were offered by respective institutes. It made me hungry to acquire most of the degree that interests me.. I'll apply for sure if I really have the sum in hand, man! Hahaha. Spend almost 3.5 hours and as a result, our stomachs were growling like hell!
Had our lunch at BK,thn off to our next destination: No.1 Upper Aljunied Link, for another interview. Finding the place was totally wrecking your nerve. Will not go further into it due to some personal reasons.
7th Mar: Mall Jobs @ Tampines 1 & Shopping @ Bugis Street
After tution met up with Nawa again at tamp lib to head off to Tamp Central CC to view the jobs offered by different employers. Managed to apply 3 positions and hopefully will get it. Quite a short outing though but satissfying.
Went to Bugis Street with family. For the first time I didn't asked for anything eventhough they keep on asking me to buy sth. This is bcuz I keep on reminding myself that now is the recession period and I want to save money after they spending aroung $100 (i guess..) on school accessories. Enjoyed myself though despite not spending anything because I'm happy for my siblings that they get new school bags after so long of pestering me to buy for them.
8th Mar: International Women's Day Celebration 2009 Funnival by the Park @ Bedok Reservoir
Kinda woke up late to dressed up for the walkathon. Rushed things thru. Luckily dad beeped me fast saying that he wanted to send us there. Upon reaching the place,I was informed by my cuzin that we are actually at the ending point. It turns me off to join the walk. Thus me and my sis decided to find the goodie bag redemption booth. Collected lots of bags and hang around my cuzin's booth. When the park is almost crowded, I decided to walk around the big tentage and see the activities that they offered. Planned to queue for the handwax (bcuz it's been ages I wanted have one.) but luckily my aunt was queueing. So there I was kinda jumping the queue. Waited for so long, thus I do the Carricaturist for awhile. While in the short queue, beeped my sis to do it as well. After that,we joined back the queue. There's a family infront of us who is so super damn kiasu (i shud say it..) jumped the queue eventhough one of the family member had been queueing since just now. If only 1 or 2 members cut the queue would be fine but there were 8 of them! (actually I heard from 1of them that they did b4) Chinese. I was so frustrated. They still have the guts to scold us for not letting them into the queue. WTF sia...argh.
Here's the cartton version of me and my 'somehow imperfect' hand:
9th Mar: Bugis area outing
Met him ard 11am. Slacked. Lunch @ Pasar Geylang. Met Fir & Jepon nearby. Head off to respective bike shops for maintenance. Head off to shops near Ah Boi in searching and surveying suits, boot, helmet and handgloves. Hunger arroused. Grab dinner at Bugis Qiji. Shopping around at Bugis Street (again..). Planned to buy watch for him but eventually he pay by himself just bcuz I dnt have small change..hahaha. There he was pampering himself a watch, shades and a tshirt. I bought a thin white belt for $2..isn't that freaking cheap?! After looking roughly look thru the shops, home sweet home. Eventhough it's short and kinda boring (maintenance part)...I did have a great outing with them..
